Partnerships

There are numerous examples, in British Columbia and across Canada, of successful joint ventures between First Nations, local governments, and non-Aboriginal companies and organizations.

It isn’t always easy. Cultural and political differences can sometimes make positive collaboration difficult. But the difficulties can be overcome, and when they are, good things can happen for all concerned. Our aim here  is to highlight and showcase successful First Nation economic collaboration with non-Native partners.

Successful partners know one another. Understanding and respecting First Nations cultures is a crucial first step for non-Native governments and businesses wanting to work with First Nations.
