Providing an Effective Rural Voice

Every rural community needs a champion — an individual, group, or organization with the ability and willingness to focus on issues of importance to rural residents, and the capacity to help make positive things happen. The Rural Ontario Institute and the Center for Rural Affairs are excellent examples of organizations that are effective rural champions.
